Conformation
He is the kind of horse that is physically built for work. He does not have a fault conformationally that we can see. For a Rocky, he is balanced head to toe. He is built and capable of being a hardy and handy horse or just one to haul you up many mountains! He can do the work of a quarter horse without the trot! He is very thick boned, long and tall , sound, durable legs/hooves and a elegant height! He is downright cute with a pleasant expression.
Temperament
This guy is sweet and totally interactive with his human. He loves to be enriched with a job. When its time to be groomed or just hang out he is a true companion!
Riding
His previous owner states he has been ridden all over KY! Stands to be saddled and bridled. Stands to be mounted.
Intermediate Horseman owner suggested until a full training routine is established.
Skills
An elderly gentleman had him as his main trail mount in KY (He states this is the best horse he's had). Stops and stands willingly and turns off of leg or rein.
He’s ready to make your dream a reality here at R2! He had not been ridden in a while so we are legging him up for you!
Gaits
This is the horse that everyone is searching for. Will walk loose rein, Gait when asked.
We're currently building muscles!
Management
He is the type of horse you can put on pasture and not worry about significant weight gain. He gets free choice hay & a bit of grain with a mineral block.
He fits in at the bottom to middle of the herd and gets along well with others! He has a puppy-dog personality and is easy to catch.
