This is an exquisite and rare lineage we've been building for a decade! We trained siblings to his sire for years, knowing they were superior trail mounts. When the time came, we custom built his sire through an AI breeding to a superior mare (Silver Sage - See all the good things she has been doing!) We knew this was the match with a highly talented mare! The resulting offspring was so nice we did it twice!R2 The Smoking Dun was gentle, willing and not very studdy! But as we began to show off how much we liked him... SOMEONE WANTED HIM (as a gelding mind you!) He is living his best life in WI.... BUT right before he retired from his short breeding career we knew we wanted to keep a little bit of him. We chose 2 mares to breed. R2 Oblivion is a TALL, fine mare from Canada and an ideal cross for her gait and personality- it's like we are doubling down on GENTLE and GAIT. I can confirm that it worked! This boy can pick up the squarest gait in the field, as they say in Kentucky, he can gait a hole in the ground. He LOVES ALL the cuddles you are capable of giving...
